Privacy policy

DispatchFlex is a Shopify app that shows per-product handling times on product pages. This policy describes exactly what it stores and what it doesn’t. Last updated 2 August 2026.

What we store

When you install DispatchFlex we store two things, both required for the app to function:

  • Your store domain and an access token. Shopify issues the token during installation. It lets the app read your products and write handling times on your behalf, and it is what keeps you logged in when you open the app.
  • Your plan identifier. A short string recording which DispatchFlex plan your store is on, so the app knows whether the free product limit applies.

That is the complete list. The handling times you write are stored by Shopify as product metafields on your own store, not by us.

What we don’t store

DispatchFlex stores no customer personal data. It does not receive, request or retain names, email addresses, addresses, payment details or order information belonging to your customers. It has no access to your orders or customers at all: the only permission it requests is to read and write products.

The storefront badge is rendered by Shopify from your product data. It runs no JavaScript, sets no cookies, performs no tracking, and sends nothing to our servers. Visitors to your store are not observed by DispatchFlex in any way.

Where it’s stored, and who else can see it

Data is held in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon in AWS us-west-2 (United States), and the app itself runs on Vercel. Those two providers, together with Shopify, are the only third parties involved. We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone, and there is no analytics or advertising tooling in the app itself or on your storefront. This public website (not the app) uses Vercel’s cookieless page analytics, which counts visits without cookies, fingerprinting or personal identifiers.

How long it’s kept

When you uninstall DispatchFlex, Shopify notifies the app and your session is deleted immediately. Roughly 48 hours after uninstall, Shopify sends a shop redaction request and any remaining record of your store, including the cached plan identifier, is erased.

Handling times you set remain on your products as Shopify metafields, because they belong to your store rather than to us. You can clear them from the app before uninstalling, or from Shopify afterwards.

Your rights

DispatchFlex implements Shopify’s mandatory data-privacy webhooks, so requests raised through Shopify for customer data access, customer deletion, or shop deletion are handled automatically. Because no customer data is ever stored, the customer requests return nothing; the shop request erases everything we hold.

You can also contact us directly to ask what is stored for your store, or to have it deleted, at yuvr99@gmail.com. We aim to respond within a few days and to act on deletion requests within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes affecting what is stored will be announced in the app before taking effect.
